This is an ideal position for a person with an outgoing personality and well honed communication skills. In addition to an appropriate qualification, appointment to this exciting and challenging position requires a minimum of two years PR experience. Outstanding spoken and written language skills are of vital importance, as is computer literacy (specifically pertaining to MS Office).
Responsibilities include:
- Liaison and networking with Media
- Preparing and distribution of press releases
- Preparing and distribution of all PR written material
- Liaison and networking with Government (on all levels)
- Promoting AMS activities, projects and programmes
- Preparing and distribution of annual report and quarterly newsletter
- Website Management
Candidates should have a flexible approach to working after hours when needed, and be prepared to travel. Own transport and a valid Code B (former Code 08) drivers licence is essential.
