AMS Operational Orientation including SACAA Part 138

This one day aero medical orientation course is mandatory for all aviation and medical crew who are or intend to fly on AMS aircraft both fixed wing and rotary.

Both primary and secondary crews must complete this course prior to acceptance as AMS crew.

Please note that it is a regulatory requirement to renew this course on an annual basis for both aviation and medical crews to maintain the high professional standard of quality and safety of our operations

Due to the volume of applications AMS will reserve slots based on your ability to add value to the health sector plus your clinical qualification and /or experience.

Pre Course Requirements

Open book test requiring 80% pass rate. Manual must be purchased at least 2 weeks prior to course, test paper will be written at course start.
