Department of health MEC Peggy Nkonyeni cut the cake at the KZN Department of Health and South African Red Cross - Air Mercy celebration held at Sibaya casino on November 20.

The celebration was to commemorate a successful ten years of service and the function was attended by health workers from all over Kwazulu-Natal.

The department of health and the South African Red Cross merged so that together they could improve health service delivery by means of a helicopter to remote areas in Kwa-Zulu Natal.
