The Northern Cape Department of Health and the AMS Kimberley base are working in partnership to improve the quality of healthcare in the Northern Cape Province since April 1996.

The service includes specialists going to rural hospitals, handling problems that local doctors are unable to solve; emergency transfers of patients from rural hospitals to secondary or tertiary facilities; and thirdly planned patient transport from far rural areas to and from Kimberley.

Our Services would not be able to function without the help of staff seconded by the Northern Cape Province.
