Our Message:

The AMS endeavours to provide services to government and to the community in need wherever and whenever possible. Volunteers are needed for the Scheduled Health Outreach Programme where Doctors, Specialists and other Health Care Practitioners go out to the outlying areas of the province to support health facilities needs. If you are a registered practitioner in any category of health care, you are welcome to become a volunteer. However, your time and expertise will only be used when it is requested by the Health Departments or at requests when possible.

There is also a need for volunteers to assist in times of mass casuality and disaster situations. If you are able to assist in First Aid, Organising, Event Management or a Community Leader that is able to rally up support at short notice or any expertise in disaster scenarios, please enlist as a volunteer and state how you can be of value to the AMS.

The work we do is very gratifying and difficult to describe, one has to get involved to live the experience. There are special people in the world that look to help others before helping themselves. We appeal to these people to become involved so that we can deliver more with little return.
