Our services are provided without desire for financial gain. Operational costs are recovered, where possible, from the relevant departments of health, medical aid societies and other medical and associated organisations that utilise the service.
As a non-profit organisation, we rely heavily on donations to maintain our services. One hundred percent of donor monies go towards maintaining aircraft, purchasing lifesaving medical equipment and expanding services. There are various ways of giving, ranging from a monthly donation on a fixed basis to a once-off contribution. Companies are invited to join our planned giving programme, have an event on our behalf or link their product with our brand, for added value. Individuals can also donate via leaving a bequest or legacy in their will. All donations receive a Section 18A tax certificate (applicable to South African donors), a thank you letter and, where appropriate, media releases will be distributed.
There are various ways of giving:
- AMS Tin Collection
This is a great way for shops, and clubs etc to raise funds, without much effort. Would you like a collection tin in your outlet? Click here and our representative will get in touch with you.
- Organise Events
By making us an event beneficiary, we can help raise the profile of your event through sending media releases to your local newspaper, TV and radio stations.
- How to Donate
Payroll Giving works by authorising your employer to deduct regular charitable donations from your salary, or by organising your own stop order from your bank account. With Payroll Giving you are able to choose the size of your donation and how often you wish to give - whether a few rands or hundreds of rands, every little bit helps.
- Sponsorships
An association with the AMS will add value to your brand, as well as demonstrate relevance and social responsibility. Click here for more in formation.
