The SA Red Cross Air Mercy Service is currently seeking IT candidate will be responsible for troubleshooting and resolving all IT issues - whether hardware or software-related and maintaining computer networks and connectivity.


Must be a South African Citizen.

Experience working with Windows Servers, Mac OS, PASTEL, VIP and PABX systems

Overall understanding of IT infrastructures and networking, including mobile networks and devices

A clear and methodical approach to problem solving

Excellent written and verbal communication skills

Ability to work under pressure and to deadlines

Eagerness to learn

Reliable personal transport.

Flexibility with changing requirements regarding working hours.

Be prepared to travel from time to time to various bases.



Troubleshooting and resolving all IT issues including PABX system and multifunction devices

Security and Policy Management

Asset Management



Technical certificate/diploma related to IT

Minimum of 2 to 3 years work experience in a technical/support role

Preference will be given in terms of the AMS’s Employment Equity Policy.
