Job Responsibilities Flying Doctor Service, organising inter-hospital transfers and aero-medical emergency support in the Pilatus PC-12 aeroplane.

When did you start at AMS? July 1997
What did you do before? I worked as a nurse in neurosurgery, maternity and family planning at various hospitals and as an in-service trainer for the Department of Health.
What do you enjoy most about your job? Being able to see the difference our work brings to the community.

What do you enjoy most about your job? The scenery.

Job Responsibilities Establishment of AMS plane Kimberley, providing of Infrastructure, Co-ordination of flights and Air Crew, Training and upliftment of personnel.

When did you start at AMS? 10 Aug 2005
What did you do before? I worked for the KZN-EMRS and Aeromed. I have completed my Btech in MEC at DIT.
What do you enjoy most about your job? Flying, meeting people.
Most memorable moment: Transport of a patient who was Quadriplegic. We loaded the patient and were given a wheelchair to take with. As there was no space in the Helicopter, we made a plan and made space for the wheelchair, which was very important to the patient.

What did you do before? Pilot at Bevrick Air.
What do you enjoy most about your job? Variation, challenge, meeting new people and getting to know South Africa and its people better.
Most memorable moment: Landing at remote air strips.

Worked as a Training Captain for Fugro Airborne Surveys
What do you enjoy most about your job? Flying - combined working with people - providing a service to thankfull individuals.
Most memorable moment: At this stage (early) while still under training I admire the instructors ability and patience with the new candidates. As for a memorable moment - flying at altitude up the coast to Port Elizabeth on a clear day - what a view.
